Product Overview

Berberine Sulfate is a sulfate salt form of berberine, a quaternary isoquinoline alkaloid traditionally sourced from Coptis chinensis(goldthread) and Phellodendron amurense(Amur cork tree). It appears as yellow to yellow-brown crystalline powder, bitter taste, better water solubility than the free base, and is commonly used where Berberine HCl is not preferred in formulation​ (specific excipient compatibility, regional regulatory, or cost/form selection reasons).
