Product Introduction

Breviscapine (CAS 116122-36-2), also known as DengZhanHuaSu (DZHS), is a standardized total flavonoid extract derived from the dried whole plant of Erigeron breviscapus (Vant.) Hand.-Mazz. (family Asteraceae), a medicinal herb native to the Yunnan Province of southwestern China at elevations of 1,200–3,500 meters. The extract is standardized to contain not less than 85% scutellarin (CAS 27740-01-8, C21H18O12, MW 462.36), a flavone glucuronide that serves as both the principal bioactive constituent and the pharmacopoeial marker compound for quality control.
